All.Can Italy has contributed to the Report on the welfare condition of oncological patients of the Italian Federation of Voluntary Associations in Oncology by writing a chapter on the implementation of the Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan (source).
The chapter explores in detail the opportunities of the Plan, also with a view to its implementation in Italy through the National Plan for Oncological Prevention that is currently being drafted: indeed, All.Can Italy decided to promote an analysis of the Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan in order to compare it with the current framework of cancer care in Italy, and identify the opportunities that the healthcare framework in Italy can seize by aligning itself with the European document, and also by understanding how to allocate efficiently the resources that will soon be made available.
